Welcome Letter

Dear Friend,

Welcome to our website and thank you for taking an interest in the Church of God International, Kitchener.

We strive to provide a safe haven for those searching for truth and a place for those who seek purpose in a world that hangs its head down in hopeless despair. We offer you a place to learn the real purpose and meaning of your existence, a place where you can find fellowship and support as you face the challenges in life,
many of which just seem overwhelming.

This is not a church offering man’s philosophy, but one founded on the sure and precious Word of God. It is His Word that offers us a way of life that brings happiness and security to those courageous enough to accept God’s calling. This same God lovingly gave His Son that we might have life with a hopeful future. As you read this, you may very well be receiving a calling from your Creator. We are encouraged to “seek Him while He may be found.” Listen carefully to the meaningful words of Jesus, “Come to Me, all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.”

We invite you to attend with us every Saturday

We look forward to hearing from you.
May God bless you as you seek a relationship with Him.

About Us

About Us

The church has a mandate to continue with the witness and message of Jesus Christ initiated through His life, teachings, and sacrifice for every person and all nations. This will be accomplished by the resources available to the “body of Christ” and furthered through the spiritual gifts bestowed by our Heavenly Father. As the “body” consists of individual members, it is each person’s privilege to follow the Savior and “repent…and believe the good news.” Living as new creatures in Christ, it then becomes evident that a devoted membership will carry on the work begun by Jesus to
announce “in all the world” that the “Kingdom of God is at hand.”

Furthermore, Christ’s promise of vitality to His church for all ages will be evident in the love of each member for their “brothers and sisters in the faith,” and their fellow man, regardless of gender, race, or social status. Through spiritual design, the body of Christ will extend beyond a local community as members support one another, taking care of their “own,” visiting the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and keeping themselves unspotted from the world.

Matthew 28:19–20

Therefore go27 and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,28 28:20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember,29 I am with you30 always, to the end of the age.”

Mark 1:15

He32 said, “The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God33 is near. Repent and believe the gospel!”

Mark 16:15–16

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16:16 The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

Acts 1:7–8

He told them, “You are not permitted to know21 the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority. 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts22 of the earth.”

Matthew 16:18–19

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades23 will not overpower it. 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.”

Luke 24:44–47

Then111 he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me112 in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms113 must be fulfilled.” 24:45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures,114 24:46 and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ115 would suffer116 and would rise from the dead on the third day, 24:47 and repentance117 for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed118 in his name to all nations,119 beginning from Jerusalem.

Luke 4:18–19

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed62 me to proclaim good news63 to the poor.64 He has sent me65 to proclaim release66 to the captives and the regaining of sight67 to the blind, to set free68 those who are oppressed,69 4:19 to proclaim the year70 of the Lord’s favor.”
