Kenroy Allen

  • Kenroy Allen’s journey with the Church of God movement started in Kingston, Jamaica with the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) in January 1979 where he was baptized in December of the same year. Kenroy served as Business Manager of the WCG office in Jamaica from January 1985-1991. He was ordained as a deacon in May 1990.

    In 1991, he married and left his position from the church in Jamaica and migrated to Toronto, Canada where he continued to serve as a deacon. In 1995, the Allens were among the founding members of the Toronto United Church of God, where they served faithfully until October 2002. They joined the Church of God International in 2002 and have been serving in the Toronto, Ontario congregation. Kenroy was ordained as an elder at the Feast of Trumpets,
    October 3, 2016.

    The Allens were instrumental in the process which led to the official affiliation between CGI and Faith Community Church of God in Ghana, West Africa. Kenroy is enjoying retirement after over 20 years in the Payroll & Human Resources sector. He continues to give back to his community as president of the Pureaide Project and serving as co-pastor of the Toronto and Kitchener congregations of the
    Church of God International Canada.
